THE JAZZ MONKEYS
STAGE BAND
The Jazz Monkeys is a stage band, made up of middle years school students (Year 6 and onwards) who perform and rehearse in New South Wales. The ensemble consists of students who have a keen interest in expanding their repertoire and ensemble knowledge, who have been taught in some capacity by Susan.
The ensemble began in 2017 and since then The Jazz Monkey's have seen success in many community public performances. The overall ethos of the ensemble is inclusive, fun and educational. The students rehearse fortnightly to coincide with extra-curricular and lifestyle demands of each students. The ensemble welcomes new membership from all keen and interested young musicians.
The Jazz Monkey's are also available for public, community-based performances.
